Blog Number One

Wow, what an interesting title for the first blog, blog number one! Impatient me, that has a story behind it. You see I am in a band called the Impatients, I am the lead singer and we are pretty new, doing mosty indie and jazzy songs. And we called it the Impatients because most of us can get pretty impatient at times, and therefore we are THE Impatients! Anyways Impatient Me just came to mind.

We just recently recorded a song in our schools music room, it's a cover of Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah' that we performed last month at Waterloo-Oxford District Secondary School's Relay For Life 2008! It was a blast of a night, although I was quite nervous to get on stage in front of my own school, all went well and everyone seemeed to love it! We got great comments! The band consists of a few of my good friends and my girlfriend :)

So we are looking for some summer gigs to make some extra cash, I am not sure where to look for some yet, maybe local bars and restaurants. I will post the song on here and if you like it, subscribe to my blogs and you will get updates on the band!!
